It’s hard to be an expert when you are starving. Believe, me I’ve tried. I wouldn’t recommend it.


If you are struggling, trying to keep your head above water, if you are doubting yourself and wondering if what your family or your girlfriend is telling you is right, if you are wondering if you should get a “day job,” then we need to pause and reflect.


And the first thing we need to reflect on is your financial success is separate from your sense of self-worth – or at least it should be. If it’s not, we need to make make sure can create that split, because you are not your bank account.

A career as a coach or trainer is a never ending opportunity to learn, grow, and re-invent yourself.


You don’t get to pick the problems you solve because everyone who you come across is different: Different genders, ages, fitness levels, disposable time, disposable income, and almost always unsure of their commitment.
