A recent report from the IHRSA shows that the global health club industry continued to grow in 2016. The industry reached total revenues estimated at $83.1 billion, translating into roughly 200,000 clubs serving 162 million members around the world. 
 
Ben Midgley is the CEO of Crunch Franchise, and a veteran of the fitness industry who got his start in a small health club in Maine, before going on to become an executive at companies like 24 Hour Fitness and Planet Fitness. He co-founded Crunch Franchise in 2010.
 
If anyone knows what this data means, it’s Ben, so we took the time pick his brain on the subject of scaling a fitness business.
